For lovers of cycling in the green, the Ciclopista Valsugana is the ideal route. The route connects Lake Caldonazzo to Bassano del Grappa, about 80 km completely immersed in the green. The track runs through woods, fields, meadows and orchards where the only sounds are those of nature; the flowing water and the singing of the birds. By pedaling you will cross small towns and historic villages rich in traditions and charm.

The real bike path starts at Pergine Valsugana and continues for 25 km to Borgo Valsugana.
Here the cycle path stops and allowing you to visit the old town center. Once crossed Borgo, the trail begins on a road to the small town of Primolano in the town of Cismon del Grappa. The track resumes then ends 25 km after Bassano.

Valsugana is a cycling track that runs almost completely on asphalted and flat roads and, in the direction described here, slightly sloping. It’s very well-finished and perfectly safe for children as well. Along the way there are numerous parking areas and fountains where you can do refueling of water or do picnics.

The Ciclopista Valsugana is accessible throughout the year, but the best time to discover it is from April to June or September. In the summer months of July and August it’s usually very crowded and with the warmth of those days pedaling can become a challenge. In the winter, however, some stretches of the track are often snow-covered or icy, so more dangerous and difficult.
